Step 1: Install the Site Tracking Tag

The first thing you need to do is install the Perfect Audience Site Tracking Tag on the web site where you want to cookie visitors.

In your "Manage" menu,
click User Tracking.

This will pull up a page with a javascript tag that looks like this:

Paste the code just above the </body> tag on your website.
The tracking tag must be installed on every page of your website.

(Use Wordpress, Drupal, or e-commerce stores like Shopify?  View our guides for 3rd party site integration.)

If you're looking to setup dynamic retargeting, make sure you follow these additional steps.

If you're already using Google Analytics or some other analytics product, you probably have some code snippets down there already. It doesn't matter if you put the Site Tracking Tag right before or right after those other snippets, so long as it before the closing </body> tag.

Wait for the e-mail! Now that your tag is on your site, you will receive an e-mail when our system starts seeing data. You can also check back to the Site Tracking Tag page to see if data is being received. This usually takes an hour or two. If you don't get an e-mail or see data on your tag page or audience page, double check that you've placed the tag in your web site code and pushed that code live. It can be easy to forget a simple step in there along the way.

If you continue to have problems, email
